Day 1 Arrive in Chongqing
You will be met at the airport by your guide, who will assist you with a transfer to Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing for check-in and to rest.
You will visit Jiefangbei (Liberation Monument), where you will ride the Liziba Monorail Station, and explore the city center.
Afterwards, you will ride the Cable Car across the river.
Then, you will go to Hongya Cave, one of your travel consultants recommended locations, built into a cliff. Typical shops and restaurants with traditional architecture are located there.
You will have dinner at a restaurant near the cave.
Later that night, you will board a cruise at 9:00 p.m. from Chongqing to Yichang, the start of your Three Gorges journey.

Day 2 Three Gorges Cruise – Qutang Gorge
In the morning, the cruise will begin and you will experience the Three Gorges and take a scenic tour through Qutang Gorge, known for its cliffs with rock walls nearly a thousand feet high and narrow passage.
During the midday, you will leave the ship to see and tour White Emperor City, which has the ruins of an ancient fortress and a scenic tourist area with historical significance.
In the afternoon, you will reboard and continue cruisng, seeing the landscapes of Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge by boat.
In the night, you will return to your cabin for a relaxing evening aboard.

Day 3 Three Gorges Cruise – Wu Gorge & Xiling Gorge
Morning & Afternoon: Continue your cruise along the Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge and enjoy the awesome beauty of this region.
Participate in onboard activities, including lectures on the Three Gorges Dam and Chinese culture.
Evening: Wind down your day while enjoying dinner onboard.

Day 4 Visit Three Gorges Dam & Transfer to Zhangjiajie
Morning: Disembark and excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric dam in the world.
Noon: After your dam excursion, board a luxury bus for transfer to Zhangjiajie (about 4 hours).
Evening: Check in at the Lanting Yaju Hotel. If time allows, take a stroll along Golden Whip Stream before dinner.
Enjoy your evening resting at your hotel.

Day 5 Zhangjiajie Avatar Viewing
Morning: Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to explore the Avatar Hallelujah Mountains.
Take cable car rides to Yuanjiajie and see the iconic Pillar of Southern Sky, the inspiration for the floating mountains from the movie Avatar.
Travel onward to Tianzi Mountain for magnificent views of pillar-shaped peaks and cliffs.
Afternoon: Go on hikes to the First Bridge Under Heaven and Platform of Forgetfulness.
Evening: Return to Lanting Yaju Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 Glass Bridge, Tianmen Mountain & Travel to Shanghai
Morning: Visit Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge – the longest and tallest glass bridge in the world. Walk across the bridge and look at the amazing views of the canyon.
Midday: Visit Tianmen Mountain, take a cable car to Heaven’s Gate, and walk on the famous glass skywalk at a height of 1,430 meters.
Afternoon: Transfer to Airport for flight to Shanghai.
Evening: Check-in at HOTEL GOLDEN TULIP BUND NEW ASIA.
Evening at the Bund, walk along the river side and see the beautiful skyline of Shanghai.
Have dinner at a near by restaurant.

Day 7 Explore Shanghai
Morning: Visit Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s busiest street for shopping.

Evening: Walk the Bund again at night to see nightlife in Shanghai.
Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8 All Day Shanghai City Walk & Travel to Beijing
Morning & Afternoon: A full day exploring Shanghai today. Maybe put in Xintiandi (a trendy pedestrian street); the French Concession; or you can stop into the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center if you want to gain an insight into the development of this major city.
Evening: Fly to Beijing.
Check into your hotel and relax.

Day 9 Great Wall of China – Mutianyu
Morning: Travel to the Mutianyu part of the Great Wall. This is one of the best-preserved and least-crowded parts of the Great Wall.
You can take the cableway or hike to the top of the wall and explore the wall.
Afternoon: Visit the Summer Palace if time allows or return to Beijing for lunch at a local restaurant.
Evening: Return to Beijing for an evening at your leisure.

Day 10 Discover Beijing – Forbidden City & Departure
Morning: Explore the Forbidden City, UNESCO World Heritage site and the former imperial palace of China.
